Introducing The Virulite Cold Sore Machine The Virulite device is a completely new & innovative way to treat Cold Sores. It is the size of an electric shaver and weighs less than 120 grams, making it convenient to carry in a jacket pocket or handbag. The device needs to be used in most cases only twice per Cold Sore attack and the clinical evidence generated from the pilot patient trial was based upon a single application of the device. The Virulite CSŪ device will deliver unlimited treatments. During a 3-year period over 250 patients with cold sores were treated with different non-thermal quantities of narrow waveband light, some of which were shown to be ineffective and some had adverse effects. The waveband used in the Virulite device today was discovered through this process. The treatment is simple, highly effective, portable and eliminates the need for repeated applications of ointments, which have a limited shelf life once they have been opened and can be extremely messy. |
 Virulite Cold Sore Machine Features Two LEDs giving out the invisible 1072 nanometer light in specific pulsed bursts are set into the bell shaped treatment area, which is placed over the Cold Sore. Dual activation switches prevent accidental activation while the device is being carried in a purse or pocket. A built in self-timer ensures a 3-minute treatment cycle, whilst a green LED flashes to reassure the user that the treatment is taking place, as the Virulite waveband of light is invisible to the human eye. At the start and end of the treatment an audible warning sound is heard and the device automatically switches itself off after the three minutes. An internal mini-computer runs checks each time the device is activated to ensure that there is sufficient battery power and also constantly checks the 1072nm light to ensure that the correct therapeutic waveband is emitted. If any of these criteria fail, an alarm tune is played and the device shuts down. This safety feature prevents the user using an ineffective device.

Product Guarantee The Virulite Cold Sore Machine is guaranteed to deliver light in the 1072nm (+/-12nm) range and will deliver unlimited three minute treatment cycles, with a replaceable battery, whilst under warranty. The Virulite device must only be used on one person, sharing may spread infections. Product Information The manufacturer's warranty is for 1 year against defective material or workmanship. There have been no reported side effects from using the Virulite machine, which emits low energy, non-thermal quantities of naturally occurring Near Infra Red light. The light output has less energy than a household light bulb. Always use common sense precautions when using the Virulite Cold Sore Machine. Do not allow liquid to come into contact with the device that could cause damage to your Virulite device.
